Wilma Prier

Wilma is survived by her husband, Edward, of Dyersville, 3 sons: Steve (Sharon) Prier of Dyersville, Scott (Marybeth) Prier of Geneva, IL, and Kevin Prier of Dyersville; 2 daughters: Sharon (Matt) Beglau of Dyersville and Carmen (Jason) Steffensmeier of Farley; 11 Grandchildren; Taylor, Toshia and Derek Prier, Ashley and Adam Prier, Chelsea Beglau, Sara, Ryan and Nicholas Prier, Jared and Cody Steffensmeier; 2 sisters: Grace (Bob) Niehaus of Mason, OH and Ruth (Ambrose) McCusker of Fontana, CA. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Kaye Glynn. Wilma was born November 20, 1937 in Ryan, Iowa the daughter of Emil J. and Rose (Wieferich) Lasche. She married Edward Prier on October 3, 1961 in Ryan, Iowa. Wilma was a housewife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She and Ed enjoyed bowling and playing cards. Wilma was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America The CD of A Rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m. and the parish scripture service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2005
