Survivors include his wife, Tammy, 3 sons, Damian of Ames, IA, Steffen of Cedar Rapids, and Kyle at home, 2 daughters; Bianca and Lauren both at home, 5 brothers: Mike (Ann), Jim (Judy), Bill (Connie), Chris (Nicole) and John (Emily) all of Dyersville, his grandmother, Evelyn Link of Dyersville, his mother-in-law, Valeria Hillebrand of Dyersville, one brother-in-law, John (Joyce) of Dyersville and one sister-in-law, Lori Hillebrand of Davenport, and many nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law Alfred Hillebrand, grandfather, Jack Link and grandparents, Al and Veronica Danz. Tom was born on October 14, 1969 in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of John and Mary Susan "Suzie" (Danz) Link. He married Tammy Hillebrand on December 18, 1997 in Dubuque, Iowa. He was part owner of Link Truck Line in Dyersville. Tom adored his family and was a very loving and devoted father, husband and brother. He enjoyed activities with his family like boating, fishing, camping, snowmobiling and trucking.
