Richard Thier

Survivors include, 4 sons, David (Marie) and Daniel (Eileen) both of Worthington, IA, Dale (Ann) of Cedar Rapids and Richard D. of Juneau, WI. 10 Grandchildren. 2 Brothers, Al (Donna) Thier and Don (Mary) Thier both of Dyersville. Dick was preceded in death by his wife Mildred in 1992, a son Ronald, a grandson, Jerry Thier, a brother, Clete Thier and a sister Virginia Gross. Dick was born August 16, 1919 in Dyersville, Iowa the son of Frank and Elizabeth (Claus) Thier. He married Mildred White on August 16, 1941 in Dyersville. Together they farmed in the Worthington area until their retirement in 1977 when they moved to Dyersville. Parish Scripture Service will be recited at 4:00 p.m.Sunday.
