Surviving are his wife, Patricia, 4 daughters: Lori (Loren) Manternach of Cascade, Julie (Steve) Wells of Dyersville, Janet (Kevin) McNaney, both of Dyersville and Sue (Rod) Lansing of Colesburg, IA; a son, Russ (Winnie) Meyer, of Dyersville; 13 grandchildren: Kristen and Emily Humphreys, Megan, Drew and Aaron Manternach, Daniel and Andrew Meyer, Sara and Keri Wells, Ryan and Jerrad Lansing and Matthew and Morgan McNaney, 2 step-grandchildren: Robert Langendorffer and Royce Humphreys; 3 brothers: Donald (Helen), Jim (Sheila) and Ken (Kathy), all of Dyersville; 4 sisters: Mary Jane (Harry) Steger of Edgewood, Betty (Stan) McLane and Joyce (Ron) Olberding, both of Dyersville and Janide (Ron) Alfred of Ames, IA; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Meyer, of Dyersville. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Keri Humphreys, in 1992, two brothers, Loras, in 1999 and John, and a sister, Anne, both in infancy.
