Randy was born on July 16, 1951, in Dubuque, IA, son of LaVern and Elizabeth “Betty” (Engling) Conrad. He was raised in Dyersville, where he cherished lifelong friendships and memories. He married Lori Hicks on June 25, 1977, in Dyersville, and together they built a wonderful life filled with family, friends, and community.

Most of all, he treasured the time spent with his family and friends, and he will be remembered for his quick wit, playful sense of humor, and warm, welcoming personality.
