Madonna C. Eisele

DYERSVILLE, IOWA

Madonna C. (Werner) Eisele, 75, formerly of Worthington, Iowa, and recently of Bloomington, Minnesota, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Good Neighbor Society in Manchester, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026, at St. Francis Xavier Basilica in Dyersville, Iowa. Burial will take place at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Hennepin, Minnesota. Rev. Joe Pins will officiate, with Deacon Fred Pins assisting.

Madonna was born on December 24, 1950, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Norbert and Anna (Jaeger) Werner. She graduated from Beckman Catholic High School in Dyersville in 1969. From a young age, Madonna knew she wanted to become a hairstylist. She attended Capri College and graduated in 1970.

Madonna opened the Daisy Beauty Salon in Worthington before moving to Minnesota in 1973. She worked at several salons before opening Hidden Sheers in Richfield, Minnesota, where she continued working until her retirement.

While living in Minnesota, Madonna met her loving husband, John Eisele. The couple were married on June 12, 1993, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Madonna and John shared their home with their two beloved shih tzus, Doobie and Rocky. After John and the dogs passed away, Madonna found companionship in a rescue cat named Buddy.

Those left to cherish Madonna's memory include her siblings, Rita Greif, Fred Pins, Charlie Werner, and Tom (Linda) Werner, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents, Norbert and Anna Werner; her sisters, Norma (Werner) Pins and Bernadette (Emmett) Schumann; and other members of the Werner and Eisele families.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Good Neighbor Society for the wonderful care they provided to Madonna.
