BOZEMAN, MONTANA Lorraine A. Untz, 97, of Bozeman, Montana, and formerly of Dyersville died Sunday, July 17, 2016, at her home in Bozeman. Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at the Funeral Home, 750 12th Ave SW in Dyersville where a parish vigil service will be held at 4 p.m. and a Catholic Daughters of America Rosary will be recited at 5 pm. Visitation will continue at Kramer Funeral Home from 9:00 – 10:00 am Thursday, July 28, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am at St. Francis Xavier Basilica in Dyersville, with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Dennis Quint will officiate. Lorraine was born December 3, 1918, in Fremont Center, Illinois, the daughter of Frederich and Helena (Weidner) Obenauf. She married Anthony Untz on June 14, 1938, in Fremont Center, Illinois. Together they raised their family in Dyersville for 34 years before moving to Texas. Survivors include her children: Gerald (Sue) Untz of Lindsborg, KS, Norma Catherine (Rick) Olson of Bozeman, MT, Mary Lue (Jan) Henderson of Los Angeles, CA and Steve (Ellen) Untz of Andover, MN; Grandchildren: Brian (Lisa) Wedewer of Las Vegas, NV, Cindy Corson-Airey of Redondo Beach, CA, James (Andrea) Wedewer of Fremont, CA, Sherri (Andrew) Bankston of Lexington Park, MD, Stephanie (Adam) Untz-Richard of Okinawa, Japan and Bryant Untz; 10 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; Siblings: Gertrude Deinlein of Waterloo, WI, Luella (Bill) Newell of Prescott Valley, AZ and Jim (Linda) Obenauf of Tucson, AZ; In-laws: Leova Schaefer of Woodstock, IL, Mercedes (Bernard) Lenzen of Mundeline, IL, Rose Panek of Wauconda, IL.
