Survivors include, two sons, Bernard (Inez) Kluesner and Tom Kluesner, both of New Vienna, Iowa. 5 grandchildren. 11 great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband in 1983 and a son, John, in 1952. 4 brothers, Fred "Fritz", Cyril "Cy", Gregor "Greg" and Alfred Maiers. 2 sisters, Armella Steger and Leona Hittenmiller Loraine was born on January 8, 1909 in New Vienna, Iowa the daughter of William and Clara (Oberbroeckling) Maiers. She married Bernard M. Kluesner on September 9, 1929 in Dyersville, Iowa. Together they farmed in the New Vienna area. She was a member of the St. Boniface Altar Society, and Senior Citizens.
