Laurine Kruse

Laurine was born February 3, 1914 in Petersburg, Iowa the daughter of Henry and Mary Thole Loesche. She married Clarence Kruse on January 23, 1939 in Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Petersburg, Iowa. Together they farmed 30 years in the Petersburg and Manchester area. They retired and moved to Dyersville in February 1971. Laurine was a member of the Order of Martha. Survivors include 3 brothers; Lawrence (Maxine) Loesche of Arizona, Andy (Melaine) Loesche of Manchester and Sylvester "Red" (Alma) Loesche of Dyersville. 2 sisters; Bernice (Harry) Gassmann of Cascade and Delores (Paul) Lammers of Dyersville. And a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph H. Kruse in 1946, her parents and a number of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. The Scripture Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. and the Order of Martha Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
