Irene Kramer

Survivors include her son, David J.A. (Janice) Kramer of Dyersville, 3 grandchildren: Diane (Dale) Hefel of Farley, Darrell Kramer and Janet (Mark) Stelken all of Dyersville; 5 great grandchildren: Andy, Jenna and Madison Stelken, Danielle and Dina Hefel; 2 sisters-in-law: Bernice Lansing and Mary Kramer. She was preceded in death by her husband Alphonse "Shorty", 2 brothers: Vern and Lawrence Lansing and 2 sisters: Lucille Prier and Viola Rettig. Irene was born on August 2, 1910 in what is now the Field of Dreams Home, Dyersville, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Mensen) Lansing. She married Alphonse "Shorty" Kramer on January 4, 1938 in Dyersville, Iowa and was a homemaker. Irene lived for her son and his family and the times they spent together.
