Hildegard Foxen

Survivors include 2 daughters: Agnes (Fred) Felton of Cascade and Dorothy Foxen of Dyersville; 3 grandchildren: Wayne, Allen and Linda Felton. She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 brothers: Lawrence and Herbert Tierschel, and a sister, Lucille Heying. Hildegard Tierschel was born May 31, 1911, in Dyersville the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Arens) Tierschel. On October 22, 1935, she married Peter Foxen at St. Francis Xavier Basilica. Together they farmed in the Dyersville area for many years until they retired and moved to town in 1981. Peter preceded Hildegard in death on September 28, 1992.
