Harold H. Vogt

FARMERSBURG, IOWA

Harold Vogt died on January 14, 2026, at the age of 90 years. He was the only child of Hugo and Esther Vogt.

He was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Farmersburg, Iowa. He grew up on the family farm and farmed his entire career. He was a member of the National Guard. Harold was married to Jeanette Sutton for 68 years and they have three sons, Randal, Daniel, and David. Harold and Jeanette loved to dance and no snowstorm, however severe, ever kept them from attending. He and Jeanette enjoyed traveling and drove many times to destinations in Florida, the Southwest, Montana, and Canada. He enjoyed playing softball on the Old Timers team and playing ping pong. 

Harold is survived by his wife, Jeanette, his three sons, Randal, Daniel, and David (Julie). He is also survived by grandchildren and great- grandchildren. 

Honoring his request there will be a private burial.
