Florence Toebber

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Carol (Lou) Peterhans of Batavia, IL; 4 granddaughters: Megan (fiancé Brian Mulherin) of Elmhurst, IL, Emily, Katie and Sarah of Batavia, IL; 1 sister, Geraldine O'Connell, of Mesa, AZ and many nieces and nephews. Florence was preceded in death by her husband William F. Toebber on Aug 13, 1963, her parents, 5 brothers: William, Frank, Alfred, Charles and Clarence Fangman, and 1 sister, Stacia Bergfeld. Mrs. Toebber was born September 6, 1906, in Dyersville, Iowa the daughter of Henry A. and Mary (Benn) Fangman. She married William F. Toebber on September 8, 1947, in Dyersville, Iowa. Florence was a homemaker and a clerk at the Harrison Store in Dyersville for many years. She loved card playing and was a member of Catholic Daughters of America for 69 years, the Order of Martha, Mercy Hospital Auxiliary and Dyersville Senior Citizens. Memorials are preferred and will be given to Beckman High School and St. Francis Xavier Basilica.
