In 1997 he married his best friend and love of his life Jennifer and together they lived in Crystal Lake, IL with their four boys. Here they enjoyed sunshine, relaxation, made dear friends, and played many games of pickleball.

Daniel will be remembered for his gentle spirit, quick wit, love of baseball (a 1968 Beckman High School Blazers championship player) and unwavering devotion to his family. He had a warm smile for everyone he met and a way of making people feel at ease. His legacy of love, laughter, and integrity will live on in all who knew him.
