Daniel Heeren

Daniel E. Heeren, 54, of Monticello died Friday, August 26, 2011, at the Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Monticello. Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Monday, August 29, 2011, at the Kramer Funeral Home in Monticello where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at the Norwich Cemetery near Martelle. Daniel was born Feb. 28, 1957, in Anamosa, Iowa the son of Lyman and Bertha (Wells) Heeren. He is survived by his dear friends, Shirley Funte and The Joe and Sheila McGreal family all of Monticello; siblings: Virginia Harlow and Bill (Marla) Heeren, both of Cedar Rapids, Brenda Childers of Monticello, Angela (Lonnie) Hoose of Fairfax, James (Oune) French of Chicago, IL; 2 aunts: Marjorie (Al) Goldsmith of McGregor and Ruth Overton of California; a nephew: John Childers of Monticello and nieces: Corinthia Hoose of Fairfax, Tacie Hoose of Fairfax and Jennifer French of Texas and Jessica French of Chicago, IL. He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Linda.
