Bart Smith

Bart W. Smith, age 46, of rural Guttenberg, IA, died Wednesday, September 6, 2006, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital in Guttenberg, IA He was born the son of Dan and Rita (Woerdehoff) Smith, December 4, 1959, in Guttenberg. Bart graduated from the Guttenberg High School in 1978 and farmed on the family farm for many years. Survivors include his wife, Heidi; loving father to Travis Smith of New Orleans, La., Jake Smith of Guttenberg; one daughter, Katie Smith of Guttenberg; his mother, Mrs. Rita Smith of Guttenberg; one brother, Luke "Bill" (Karilyn) Smith of Guttenberg; three sisters, Bonnie Vorwald, Becky (Roger) Hefel, and Patt Smith all of Guttenberg, and will be sadly missed by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
