Anthony N. Mentzer

MONTICELLO, IOWA

Anthony “Tony” N. Mentzer, 33, of Monticello, Iowa passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025.

The family will be holding a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Anthony was born on August 4, 1991, in Cedar Rapids, IA, son of Nile “Rick” and Deb (Faust) Mentzer. He graduated from North Linn High School; following graduation, he got his CDL from Kirkwood Community College. Tony had many jobs but was currently employed at LL Pelling as a truck driver. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, tractor pulls, cutting wood, and repairing anything he could.

Survivors include his parents, a sister, Malissa (Mentzer)Tuttle, a niece, Addison “Addy” Tuttle, a grandfather, Eugene “Gene” Faust, a significant other, Samantha “Sam” Kay and her daughter, Oaklynn Kay

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
