Ann Meyer

Ann Meyer was born on October 15, 1938, in Sumner Iowa, the daughter of Herbert and Mildred Haase. Ann received her education from Sumner High School. On October 3, 1965, she was united in marriage with Dean Meyer at St. Johns Church in Sumner. For many years, Ann made home for her husband and three children. In her later years she worked as a school cook. Ann Meyer loved her friends and family, reading, flowers, gardening, and tea parties. She always chose a cup of joy over a cup of sorrow. Ann passed away peacefully at 5:54pm on Wednesday, March 23, 2011. She would wish to thank everyone for the outpouring of support and love. Her spirit will live on in each life that she touched. Ann is survived by her husband Dean; mother Mildred; son David; daughters Julie and Kathy; brothers Paul, Raymond, and Terry; and grandchildren Shelby and Elliott. Ann was preceded in death by her father.Visitation: Friday 4:00 - 7:00 P.M.
