Agnes Vorwald

Agnes was born March 10, 1926, the daughter of August and Olga (Klaus) Heiring. She married Robert Vorwald on June 14, 1950 in Farley, Iowa. Agnes attended the Cadet Nurses Corps where she obtained her R.N. She worked as a nurse for a number of years and operated Vorwald Construction Company with her husband Bob for nearly thirty years. She was a devoted wife and beloved mother. Survivors include her children: Ron of Clinton, IA, Linda (Peter) Kanofsky of Janesville, WI, Sandy (Steve) Ruley of Earlville, IA, Janet (David) Bird and Patti Behrens both of Edgerton, WI, Terrance (Darryl) of Los Angeles, CA, Kevin (Mary Lou) of Sterling, CO, Brian (Debbie) of Rickardsville, IA and Alan (Sarah) of Pacific Palisades, CA, 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. Siblings: Mary Ann Fangman of Ryan, IA, Germaine March of Minneapolis, MN, Eddie (Lois) Heiring of Belmont, WI, Irene Zewen of Luxemburg, and Ralph (Rose) Heiring of Dubuque, in-laws: Urban Herbers of Dyersville, Luella Cushing of Denver, CO, Gene (Dorrie) Vorwald of Holy Cross, IA, Jerome (Kathy) Vorwald of Rockford, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Olga Heiring, husband, Robert in 1980, sister, Dorothy (Gordon) Lee, in-laws: Norbert (Lavina) Vorwald, Eileen Herbers, Elaine Heiring, Joe Ward, Duane Zewen, Richard Fangman, Jim Cushing and Daryl March.
