Meredith Moser

Meredith Nevada Moser, age 100, of Guttenberg, IA, died Sunday, February 15, 2015, at Edgewood Convalescent Home in Edgewood, IA. She was born on January 3, 1915, in Osterdock, to Delbert and Hannah Borrett. Meredith received her education from the local country school. On September 26, 1946, Meredith was united in marriage with Earl Moser at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. She worked beside her husband on the farm for many years while making a home for her family. Over the years, Meredith enjoyed cooking, baking, playing cards with friends and was an avid Chicago Cubs Fan. Meredith is survived by her son, Rod (Jean Powers) Moser; three grandchildren, Chyan (Matt) Schmidt, Jennifer (John) Siggerud, Jeremiah (fianc Anne Kaufman) Moser; four great grandchildren, Blake Moser, Bryor Schmidt, Liam & Molly Siggerud; one sister Blanche Kruse and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Ivanelle Moser, Howard "Duckie" Borrett and Harry Borrett.In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to either Bethel Cemetery or the United Methodist Church in Guttenberg.Visitation: Sunday 3:00 - 6:00 P.M.
