David Roquet

David Clarence Roquet, age 79, of Elkader, IA, died Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN. He was born on August 5, 1936, in Fayette County, the son of Donald and Carol (Campbell) Roquet. David received his education locally and worked for John Deere for 30 years until his retirement. David was a long time member of the Elkader Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses and enjoyed spending time with his family. David is survived by his wife, Muriel Roquet; children, Tammy (Scott) Fischer, Ramona (Ron) Quesenberry, David Roquet, Pamela (Anthony) Bill, Dorinda (Dan) Potter, Brett (Tina) Roquet, Corinne Roquet, Twilia (Micah) Argenio, Kristie (Jehdiah) Argenio, Jared Roquet; seventeen grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two siblings, Don (Eleanor) Roquet and Mary Anne (Don) Iliff and many other relatives and friends. David was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Florence Birdnow, brother, George Roquet and one grandchild, Andrew Roquet.In Lieu of flowers and all types of sympathy, David has requested memorials that will contribute to the greater good for the congregation of Jehovah Witnesses.
